The Archer / Artisan Corridor is a focused area of work connecting the Crutchfield neighborhood with the northwest portion of Kendall-Whittier. Our efforts here are centered on strengthening this corridor through targeted investment, adaptive reuse, and community-oriented development.
Archer/Artisan Corridor – Tulsa
Why This Area Matters
This corridor serves as a key connection point between neighborhoods at different stages of reinvestment.
While surrounding areas have seen varying levels of growth, the Archer corridor presents an opportunity to create continuity between them. Its location, existing structures, and proximity to both residential and commercial areas make it well positioned to support increased activity and long term stability.
What We Are Doing
Our work along the corridor is focused on stabilizing key properties and introducing uses that support both neighborhood activity and long term development.
This includes:
- Acquisition and repositioning of underutilized properties
- Adaptive reuse of existing structures
- Support for small business, community space, and mixed-use development
Artisan Hall is a central component of this effort. Located along Archer, it is being developed as a shared community space within a historic structure, intended to support programming, collaboration, and neighborhood activity.
Current Progress
Work within the corridor is ongoing, with a focus on building a consistent presence and creating momentum through targeted improvements.
Initial efforts include property stabilization, early redevelopment work, and continued progress on Artisan Hall as a focal point within the area.
Looking Forward
The long term goal is to establish the Archer / Artisan Corridor as a connected, active link between surrounding neighborhoods.
Through steady investment and thoughtful development, this area can support increased activity, strengthen neighborhood connections, and contribute to broader revitalization efforts across both Crutchfield and Kendall-Whittier.
